Events Check Point Volunteer

Help set up and take down designated checkpoints, check off event participants as they pass through the checkpoint, offer words of encouragement to those who are flagging and take photos of our superstars.

Some of our events are in lovely locations so why not make it part of a day out?

Thank you for your interest in becoming an event volunteer!  We would love you, your family and friends to become exclusive members of our event volunteer team!

Our event volunteers are just as important to us as those taking part in events – you don’t have to be a marathon runner to make a difference.

As Events Check Point volunteer, you will set up/take down at a designated checkpoint, check of walkers as they pass through the checkpoint, offer words of encouragement to those who are flagging; take photos of our superstars.

The checkpoints are often in remote beauty spots in the countryside so driving and a car is a necessity for this role.

There may also be a lot of waiting around so patience is vital.
